The 2009 Toyota Prius is an innovative hybrid vehicle that runs on a combination of gas and electricity. This model is pitched as a solution to an extent to growing oil prices. This is Toyota’s second generation for this model.

Engine
The 2009 Toyota Prius is available in Prius and Touring versions. Both are given the same hybrid1.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine that gives an output of 67 horsepower on the electric motor and 76 horsepower on the gas engine.

Interiors and exteriors

A remote keyless entry; tilt steering wheel with audio, climate control, hands-free phone calling and navigation functions; AM/FM CD with six speakers; climate control; dual-compartment glove box and 60/40 fold-down rear bench seat are some of the important interior features of the 2009 Toyota Prius.

For the exteriors, this model gets variable intermittent windshield wipers; chrome-type finish grille; dual color-keyed power outside mirrors; electronic rear hatch locking system and rear window defogger. While the Prius gets 15-inch, six-spoke alloy wheels, the Touring gets 16-inch, seven-spoke wheels
