Aussie Christmas Hits Chicago!

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 8, 2008 -- Kangaroos and Koalas have arrived in Chicago! Everything Christmas, a real Australian Christmas Store has provided a host of Australian animal Christmas ornaments to decorate a Christmas tree in the Chicago Town Hall, Chicago USA. This special event, hosted by Maria Pappas, the Cook County Treasurer, USA, comprises a host of Christmas trees from the consulates based in Chicago decorated with ornaments in the flavour of each country. The trees will be on display throughout November and December 2008.

Carolyn the director and principal of Everything Christmas has been painting for as long as she can remember and was introduced to folk and decorative painting in 1992. Since that time she has studied with leading artists from Australia, USA and Europe. In 1993 Carolyn began her teaching career, and has taught throughout Australia, South Korea and New Zealand.
Carolyn's work was first published in 1996, and she has also worked as a stunt double for Better Homes & Gardens since 1998. Her work has been featured regularly on television and in many periodicals and lifestyle magazines including Better Homes and Gardens, Australian Country Craft & Decorating and Australian Country Collections.

Carolyn has received a number of prizes from exhibiting her work, including:
