Patriots Jarvis Green teams up with Food Bank for Holiday Food Drive

On December 16, 2008 Jarvis will sign autographs at Dave's Marketplace at 1000 Division St. East Greenwich, RI 02818. Jarvis is asking you to help others that are less fortunate this holiday season. He is requesting cash and food donations for the Rhode Island Community Food Bank to help the agency ensure that everyone has a place at the table this holiday season. For every donation that is made at the store while Jarvis is there Dave's Marketplace has generously decided that they will match each donation. Please join Jarvis, Dave's Marketplace and the Rhode Island Community Food Bank in helping others enjoy their holiday.

ABOUT DEFENSIVE END JARVIS GREEN, #97 - NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Jarvis Green, of Donaldsonville, LA, is a defensive lineman for the New England Patriots. Green was drafted with the 126th overall pick (4th round) of the 2002 NFL draft. One of the most dominating defensive linemen in LSU history, Jarvis finished his career ranking fourth on the school's career-record list with 20 quarterback sacks for 123 yards. In seven NFL seasons, Green has recorded 182 tackles (119 solo) 63 assists, and 25 sacks. Jarvis was the recipient of the 2006 New England Patriots Ron Burton Community Service Award.
