New Church Planting in Bingley West Yorkshire

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 11, 2008 -- How amazing is church planting. Scary, fun, exciting. You never know who is going to turn up on a Sunday morning. I am glad to say that we keep getting new people and we'd love more of you to join us.

A few weeks ago Jo and Simon joined us fresh from theological college. This means that our average age has lowered nicely (Bev and I are averaging 48 not out so we need the help).

We are making some good friendships with the good people of the Bradford and Bingley sports club and they are looking after us well.

We are not quite at the stage of having a band yet but we are three voices and a guitar and a bass so that is not a bad start.

In terms of vision and aims we are trying to keep a balance between having a respectable event, helping people to live effective lives, and developing a family culture.

So here is hoping that tomorrow at 10:30 some people will turn up to join us at Aire Valley Community Church.

If you'd like to find out what we're all about then come along and join us for some monce pies, mulled wine and christmas carols at our first carol service. It happening on Sunday the 21st December at 10.30am - all welcome.
