Ramsey County Low Income Home Improvement Loan Program In Twin Cities
Ramsey County, Minnesota provides a no interest loan program to low-income homeowners for home improvements to increase the livability of single family homes and stabilization of neighborhoods.

Ramsey County, Minnesota has announced a low interest loan program for low income households in Ramsey County. The household needs to meet the low income standards but the repayment schedule requires no payments and no interest.
The purpose of the program is to provide no interest loans to low-income homeowners for necessary home improvements to increase the livability of single family homes and stabilization of neighborhoods.
The program is administered by the Ramsey County Community and Economic Development Department and provides no-interest no-payment loans of up to $15,000.
The homeowners must qualify as low-income and must remain in the home for 10 years or more after the loan is issued to have the loan totally forgiven. Home fix-up projects include roof repair, furnace, electrical and plumbing repair, energy efficient window or siding, and home improvements for the disabled.
