FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) December 23, 2008 -- December 23, 2008 -- Amherst, MA -- Looking around at the crumbling world of big business and wall street makes you wonder if even the smart people aren't going broke in the current recession. While the assets of the wealthy crumble the concern of many folks is just paying the bills and keeping food on the table.

Entrepreneur Loren Woirhaye, a California native now living in Massacusetts, was a tradesman for many years and knows full-well the challenges of working people. Recently he combined that hard-won wisdom with his online marketing savvy to write "Recessionary Income: The Free Guide To Getting Your Life Back On Track During Tough Economic Times".

"I started out looking at how people could start saving money in a recession," he says," but really you need to make more money in a recession by providing value to a marketplace that is more interested in necessities than it is in luxuries. I wrote the guide to show regular people how to make more money with their present jobs, how to moonlight on the internet and make more money, and also how to start some very simple local activities whoch don't even require a computer to bring money in. There really is something for everybody here who needs to make more money in the recession. It doesn't matter if you are young or old or smart or not-to-bright, there is valuable stuff here in the guide to help you."

He is an internet expert, but he admits it took several years of work and study to get really good at using the internet to make money. Anybody who has tried to make money online has encountered a confusing virtual world where little is as it seems. With most of the online money making methods it is seems you have to be a computer and marketing expert to make any money at all.

"Not so," says Loren Woirhaye," most people are just getting the wrong advice from the wrong sources. Doing business on the internet is just like doing business in your town in many ways. People buy goods and services from other people. You really cannot realistically expect to hide behind your computer and poke buttons to make money."

Woirhaye admits that "Recessionary Income", while a labor of love for working people, is also a means to promote his own internet marketing, writing, coaching, and consulting business.

"I wear a lot of hats with my business because I have a lot to share," he says,"success in any money-making endeavor is a matter of finding people who value what you can do for them. I put out free information to help anybody but I would be a fool to turn down paying clients who come my way as a result of the free stuff. And that's part of what I teach to my students."

Woirhaye is a tallish man with salt-and-pepper hair and he speaks animatedly, gesturing with his hands. You can sense his passion for helping people adapt so they can succeed on their own terms and determine their own incomes and lifestyles.

"It doesn't have to be about you getting rich," he says," it's more like showing you how to be self-sufficient in a free-agent marketplace. Doing it this way is starting to become the best option for a lot of people to make any decent income at all. You just look at corporate downsizing and stores closing and it's clear that a lot of people need to create their own careers for themselves. It can be a challenging thing to get your mind around but what else are you going to do if you get laid-off, work at Walmart?"

To survive and thrive in tough recessionary times he says you have to be able to learn new skills and adapt. People who have been in safe jobs most of their working lives may be resistant to promoting themselves in a more open, fluid marketplace.

"If you don't adapt, you'll get left behind,"Woirhaye says,"It's just the reality of the situation. I'm under 40 and I have been hustling work my whole adult life so it's a normal thing for me but for folks who have never had to promote themselves as free agents it's a whole new area to be explored."
