Letters are still pouring in to David H. Brooks regardless of minimal body armor recall

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 30, 2008 -- A short while ago, their was a recall with Point Blank body armor (a division of DHB Industries founded by David H Brooks) the recall was a precaution and at no time was any lives of any soldiers in danger nor have any soldiers lost their lives as a result of the armors ineffectiveness.
The precautionary recall was to insure that there was absolutely no possibility of any soldiers life ever being in danger, and in fact, many letters have been sent in praising DHB (named for founder David H brooks) and its subsidiary Point Blank Body Armor.

A North Dakota news agency reports Chris Smith a Sergeant in Iraq saved by his body armor and quoting his mom being thankful for its effectiveness. (file former residents, please attach file or find link and add link.
In a letter from Senior airmen Zac Ruttman he exclaims that his protection was the sole reason he is alive after being hit by a Howitzer. (attach letter of appreciation)
In another letter from Bumgart Jasper SSG she states that while stationed in Iraq she was with soldiers that took a direct hit from an AK-47 at 200 yards. Another soldier 50 yards from an improvised explosive device , and shrapnel could not penetrate the vest. Also a blast from an RPG rocket couldn’t penetrate and the soldier returned to duty.

These letters and many others continue to motivate DHB in its purpose, and motivate DHB to continue to do everything to insure, that its responsibility to the soldiers and the US Army do not fall short of perfect, and its products pass every possible quality assurance guideline, and surpass it.
