GameStreet Launches Free Guild Hosting Service

GameStreet.net recently ventured into the guild hosting arena with its own brand of fully functional and flexible guild hosting service. The guild hosting "platform" as they call it is game-agnostic, which means it can be be tailored to fit any guild or clan's needs for any game. Its ideal for the MMORPG style games such World of Warcraft, Everquest, Everquest II, Guildwars, LOTRO, EVE Online, City of Heroes/Villains, and Warhammer online. Its extreme flexibility and will more than serve the needs of clans who play FPS (first person shooter) style games such as Battlefield 2 & 2142, Medal of Honor, and Call of Duty 4.

The hosting platform boasts an advanced guild designer that allows guild/clan administrators to build their site by adding an unlimited number of pages, and add any content to those pages anywhere. The content comes in "widgets" such as news feeds, forums, shout boxes, picture galleries (just to name a few) and can be moved around the page using drag and drop just like google's iGoogle home page, or myspace's recent profile page upgrade. GameStreet's guild hosting plans start with the free plan with up to 50mb of file storage and no content restrictions. The premium plan increases that limit to 500mb and includes a subdomain such as "myguild.gamestree.net". Custom domains are available as an upgrade as well as additional file storage up to a total of 3gb. The subdomain, custom domains and file storage can all be purchased as ala-carte upgrades if you choose not to go premium. Premium plans and upgrades can be purchased in 1 month or six month blocks for as little as $1 a month.
