North Central College in Naperville celebrated the grand opening of its spectacular new Wentz Concert Hall and Fine Arts Center at 171 E. Chicago Ave. with a Dedication Convocation on Saturday, Oct. 18, during Homecoming Weekend.
Dr. Myron Wentz: College trustee, alumnus, founder and chairman of the board of USANA Health Services and founder of Sanoviv Medical Institute, helped launch the building of Wentz Concert Hall and Fine Arts Center with his lead gift.
The 57,000 square-foot facility, located in downtown Naperville, Illinois, is named in honor of Wentz for his love for music and generous contribution of nearly $10 million in gifts to the project. The state-of-the-art Wentz Concert Hall and Fine Arts Center will house a 605-seat concert hall, art gallery, “black box” theater, rehearsal space, practice rooms and more.
One of the guests at the reception and dedication was Mr. Lloyd Singer, a North Central College alumnus and top level USANA Health Sciences Distributor. Lloyd and his wife Nikki brought their oldest son to this special homecoming weekend to see the school and support their companies founder Dr. Wentz.
Lloyd commented, "We are humbled by Dr. Wentz's continued generosity and vision for the Arts and for his amazing charitable gifts around the world. It is an honor to represent his company, USANA Health Sciences and help share Dr. Wentz's vision around the globe!"
Lloyd and Nikki Singer have one of the largest USANA Distributorships in the Midwest and are actively interviewing individuals who seek to share Dr. Wentz's vision and support the mission of True Health and True Wealth.
Dr. Myron Wentz has a long-established humanitarian relationship with the non-profit organization Children’s Hunger Fund and has built state-of-the-art medical centers for the diagnosis and prevention of disease in Uganda and Cambodia. In 2007, as a result of Wentz’s scientific and charitable endeavors, he was awarded with the Albert Einstein Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Life Sciences.
