Genital Herpes Natural Treatment Introduced
New genital herpes treatment developed by molecular biologist combines 17 natural herpes-killing compounds
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) January 4, 2009 --
Genital herpes currently affects over 40 million Americans. A team of researchers led by molecular biologist R. M. Lavinsky has released to the market under the name "Herpaflor" (www.herpaflor.com) an intricate compound of proven natural herpes killers in a new approach to genital herpes treatment.
"There are many people looking for a non-drug, affordable way to suppress outbreaks of genital herpes using natural substances," explains Lavinsky. "What we did was compile and analyze the reliable research that was out there, and capitalize on this history of solid research to create our genital herpes compound."
The team combined 17 different compounds in a liquid topical formula intended to suppress outbreaks of genital herpes as well as herpes type 1 (cold sores, fever blisters). The compound works by creating an environment on the skin that is hostile to the movement of the herpes virus from the nerve ganglia where it hides to the skin where it attempts to establish itself, causing the familiar genital herpes blisters.
Natural genital herpes treatments are not new. There have been dozens introduced that contain one, or perhaps a few, of these natural substances - but nothing so far-reaching as the Herpaflor compound.
"Many people don't realize that most drugs are derived from plants and herbs in the first place," explained Lavinsky. "Just because something is natural doesn't mean it is less potent. And sometimes, as with our Herpaflor compound, the side effects
are significantly reduced from those you find with pharmaceuticals."
Some of the ingredients of the Herpaflor genital herpes formula include licorice root, l-lysine, prunella vulgaris, lemon balm and nopal cactus. The company, Flor Nutraceuticals, uses a proprietary dual-extraction process involving oil-based and alcohol-based extraction to draw a full range of components from the herbs.
"We believe this to be a real leap in genital herpes treatment, and we expect the word-of-mouth to be big once more people are using it and having success with it," concludes Lavinsky.
