My name is Luis Garcia, and I wrote about Multi Level Marketing from 2000-05 on a website called Honeyfrog.com, before the word BLOG became popular. The reason I’m writing this article is to inform the entrepreneurs who join Web Prosperity, the truth about owning a successful home business. During the last five years I developed and tested many auto responders, web & video conferencing systems and ad trackers. I didn’t make the millions like David D'Arcangelo but I made a respectable amount of money teaching others about these types of systems. I currently earn a passive income with a product driven company.

During those five years I sold leads, bulk mailing services, bullet proof capture pages, and designed ebooks. I’ve wrote about the many different types of commission structures including; Matrix, Binary, Unilevel, Stairstep Breakaway Plan, 1-UPS and 2-UPS. I’m not writing this article to burst anyone’s bubble about Web Prosperity. I just want to make you aware of a few important facts about owning a successful home business.

I don’t know of any service driven network marketing company that has amounted to anything. In fact I’ve seen dozens come and go in the last eight years. Especially companies offering auto responders, ad trackers and conferencing software. I admit that these services are attractive but they are not the “smoking gun” to a successful career in multi level marketing. In fact 99% of people who have built six figure incomes have done so by building relationships with others not by blasting spam email or watching fancy online videos.

An auto responder is only as good as the leads you put into it. If you think that auto responders are used for spamming think again. The leads you put into them must be opt in and verified. For this reason 100% of beginners don’t need auto responders because they don’t have warm leads. If you believe that all successful networkers use auto responders I’m hear to tell you that it’s not true. Auto responders are very impersonal, are blocked by spam filters and can get you in trouble if you don’t know how to use them. I stopped using auto responder 4 years ago. The same thing can be said about Web Prosperity Meeting and Web Prosperity Media. Who the heck uses this stuff? I sure don’t nor do the handful of top earners I know.

GetResponse has been the lead auto responder in the industry and is $17.95 a month. They are powered by Implix the same company that will be providing Web Prosperity their auto responder. My advice for beginners is to maintain your own mailing list using email clients like Eudora or Pegasus. These clients are not only effective but FREE. If you want to send bulk mail use Worldcast it sends email one at a time and it’s also FREE. The key fact here is impersonal verses personal. The only way to build a six figure passive income is by promoting real consumable products and building relationships with people. Not by sending out a bunch of email or promoting services that promise the same.

If you send out target letters promising millions for doing nothing you will attract a bunch of tire kickers and foster non producers to your business. And I mean a bunch! This is very similar to what is happening with Web Prosperity. David D'Arcangelo didn’t make millions by being dumb. This guy keeps reinventing himself every few years and makes money from innocent people who are lured into opportunities of wealth like Web Prosperity. I’m not surprised at the enormous amount of people lining up for the next best thing to hit the Internet and promises of wealth. And believe me, David and his cronies at the top of the matrix will make millions with this new venture. To bad for the 98% who will waste their money.

This brings me to the Matrix Compensation Plan

Did you know that there are only a handful of billion dollar network marketing companies that offer home business opportunities and pay their distributors regularly? Did you know that they are all powered by the same legal and ethical compensation plan? Send me an email and I will tell you their names and explain the only plan that works.

Matrix plans have been subjected to attacks by regulatory agencies because they sometimes look like "a game." By and large, they have not had a successful record or influence in the MLM industry, and they foster non-producers, which makes the upline distributors resentful. Nevertheless, several companies operate matrix plans including Web Prosperity. Why, because the gurus and first to join make a lot of money. If you’re looking to earn some quick cash by raping your contacts and friends then join and promote Web Prosperity at the $59 level. The $30 difference in price is feeding the matrix and is down right illegal. You can't pay commissions on monthly fees! What will happen initially, if you know how to advertise, is that your team will grow; you will make money but after a few months you’ll start to see the rubber band affect that destroys all matrices. Understand that 99% of the people who join Web Prosperity are joining because of the opportunity NOT for the services. For this reason, like all service driven matrices the bottom will always fall apart.

David D'Arcangelo and his cronies don’t care they will make millions in the first three months of launch. Web Prosperity will be around three years from now but at a fraction of its initial launch numbers and David will be advertising the next best thing. The thousands of people who join will be back at square-one looking for a real home business. Three years from now David will launch a new audio book or teach another seminar on how he makes millions. He’ll do it over and over again until he’s old. He has to keep re-inventing himself because he has never mastered, and I say NEVER MASTERED the art of “PASSIVE INCOME”. He’s NEVER been a top producer in any real network marketing company but he sells a heck of a lot of information. He makes money by hyping new so called innovative services every three to four years. That last one being an infomercial company for MLM'ers called AMS. In fact it's the AMS database that he's blasting the Web Prosperity offer to. He reminds me of the Quixtar heavy hitters who made more money selling books and gadgets to their downline then by building a downline.
