New South Sudan Initiative Launched

In commemoration of the 4th year anniversary of the 2005 Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) in Sudan, a private company known as Abu Malek Companies & Agencies Ltd in collaboration with the local and national government of South Sudan through public-private partnership have officially launched the "New South Sudan" initiative.

"New South Sudan" is a comprehensive infrastructure projects that will transform South Sudan into becoming "world's emerging investments destination in the 21st century". It will feature massive housing projects with complete facilities such as concrete roads, drainages, potable water system, telecommunication, transportation system, and power generation.

Public-private partnerships with Build-Own-and Operate (B.O.O.) modes will pave the way for the establishment of schools, stores, malls, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, offices, factories, banks, market, and parks among others.

Mandated by the local government of South Sudan through various State Governors backed by the National Government of South Sudan, the Abu Malek Companies and Agencies Ltd was mandated to design alternative solutions and approaches that will enable various infrastructure projects intended for South Sudan to be on-ground and make the nation ready for the 2011 autonomy.
