Ms. Monique Louw was the honorary recipient presented with this year's 2008 IPSSC Walter H. Thompson award for her significant roll in creating awareness and promotion of female bodyguards and protection specialists. Louw a female Executive and Celebrity Bodyguard in the UAE has worked with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry along with the quietest corporate and diplomatic titans of the world. She has significantly enhanced the industry by showing that any one well trained can protective the lives of another, male or female. She has also raised awareness of the prejudice that exists and helped other females to overcome it through continuous training and professionalism. Walter H. Thompson was the faithful bodyguard of Sir Winston Churchill. Thompson's exemplary service helped save Churchill some 20 times.
