Composer Competition for Solo Recorder Music

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 15, 2009 -- GreaterMusic Press announces its first call for scores in its Composer Competition. This first competition is the 2009 Recorder Music Composer Competition for solo Recorder music. A panel of Recorder players will judge the entries for both the winning composition and for possible entry into an anthology for publication. A grand prize is offered and published entries will receive a prorated royalty from any sales of the competition anthology.

GreaterMusic Press was created by composer Daniel J Hay, (1957- ), as a means of creating exposure for composers. Through a series of annual call for scores and composer competitions it is hoped that more new music will become available.
