Teen Star Doc Shaw Headed To Super Bowl for Super Tailgate Throwdown & Celebrity Basketball Game.

Tampa, FL - January 19, 2009 - Each year the NFL's Super Bowl is known for attracting some of the biggest stars in sports and entertainment, as well as hundreds of thousands of fans. This year will be no different. However, the children who will be in attendance of this years festivities will surely be in for a treat when they run into Teen star Doc Shaw. He will be in town to enjoy the festivities as well, and to make several appearances and autograph sessions. One of his first appearances will be at the Super Tailgate Throwdown on Jan 29th & 30th, which will be located at 4810 N. Himes Ave in Tampa. Doc will be signing autographs and interacting with fans on those days. The Super Tailgate Throwdown will be open daily from 10am-7pm. This will be the 16-yr old actors first time attending a Super Bowl or the festivities and he is very excited. "I am a HUGE NFL fan and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to attend all of the festivities and events surrounding the Super Bowl. This is my first one, but I can guarantee it won't be my last", says Shaw. On Friday, Jan 30th fans will get a chance to watch Doc show off his basketball skills alongside some of the biggest stars of the NFL, music and entertainment at Cato June's Super Slam Celebrity Basketball Game. The game will features NFL stars like Derrick Brooks, Jerry Porter, Reggie Wayne, actor/comedian Kevin Hart, & World Champion Boxer Floyd "Pretty Boy Floyd" Mayweather Jr. The game will take place at 6PM at the University of Tampa and will benefit

Cato's "June Family Foundation". "I'm in total awe just to be asked to participate in such a positive event with all of these great players and big stars. It makes me feel good to know that I'm thought of so highly by Mr. June", said Shaw when asked about his participation in the Celebrity Basketball Game. Doc is quite a big deal in his own right, after all he is the star of the highest rated cable sitcom in cable HISTORY - Tyler Perry's "House of Payne" on TBS. Each week over 16 million viewers tune in to watch him play the loveable character "Malik Payne". Doc is also the National Spokesman for "It's Cool To Be Smart".
