Association for Learning Technology calls for nominations for Honorary Life Members

The Association for Learning Technology (ALT), the UK-based professional and scholarly association, brings together all those with an interest in the use of learning technology.

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 21, 2009 -- The Association for Learning Technology (ALT) announces the 2008 Call for Nominations for Honorary Life Membership of ALT, the UK-based professional and scholarly association which brings together all those with an interest in the use of learning technology.


Seb Schmoller, Chief Executive of ALT, explains the criteria for honorary members, “We welcome nominations for the Honorary Life Membership which is awarded to individuals whom the Association believes have made an outstanding and sustained contribution to the advancement of the Association for Learning Technology’s aims. ALT’s mission is to further the development of learning technology in a national or international context through research, practice, policy-development, leadership, or a combination of these.”

Please note the following eligibility conditions:

1. Any individual, whether or not he or she is an individual member, and whether or not he or she represents an ALT organisational member may be nominated for HLM.

2. Any individual member of ALT is entitled to make or support nominations for HLM.

The deadline for returning completed nomination forms *by post* is March 31 2009.
