Three Stars Team Announces New Charity Program – Score for the Future

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 23, 2009 -- The executives of Three Stars Team have pledged five dollars to their charitable outreach fund for every point scored in their intra-company flag football league. A committee has also been formed to determine how best these funds can be used to benefit the local community.

The most popular after-hours activity for Three Stars Team’s employees is the intra-company flag football league. With participation for the new season at an all-time high, it was easily recognized that tying this event in with the company’s desire to raise funds for charity would guarantee the program’s success.

“We were looking for a way to involve the staff with the charity, but do so in a way that didn’t rely on personal donations,” a company spokesperson said. “The solution allows our people to work hard toward maximizing donations and really take ownership of the charity.” The pledged funds will be coming from company profits. Three Stars Team is a privately held company.

Kickoff for the new charity flag football season is January 28th at the Smith Center, which lies just a few miles east of the company headquarters, and regular season games will be held on each subsequent Wednesday.
