FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) January 25, 2009 -- The Beat Junkies, the online music community, launched their new website this month after heavy amounts of redesign and simplifications. The site which was launched last year with the aim to offer useful music information and resources with a honest, down to earth, approach.

After years of using music websites and whilst being a web designer himself, Charlie Street decided to set up The Beat Junkies with it's other co-founder James Thompson in 2008. Since it's launch, it attracts just over 500 viewers per day and is constantly rising up against its competitors. Which is a daunting task considering the competition in the market currently.

As a way to make revenue from the site the owners have placed Google Add words appropriately on the pages whilst trying to make them not take the focus away from the content itself. "Good quality content is our main concern" said Charlie (MD).

Trying to promote and grow a site like The Beat Junkies can be a daunting task however, so a thorough understanding of SEO and site management has had to be taught to the UK owners by a company called Media Street. Now the site focuses on using Social Networking to promote their selves whilst it's web company (Media Street) focuses on link building.

Now, 9 months since it's launch, the site is going strong. It has regular visitors, subscribers as well as unique 'first timers'. This prompted for it to be redesigned. Originally it was a project, not a company, however the success has turned it into a company and therefore it needed to re-focus itself and aim to fulfill a different criteria. Hence it has just be redesigned, navigation re-worked and HTML, PHP and CSS code simplified.
