Laughter and Excitement in Belvidere Raises $2100 for Kids Wrestling

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 26, 2009 -- Young and old alike were roaring with laughter at the Belvidere Midget Wrestling Association's Beefsteak Fundraiser, last friday as John Raven took ordinary people and turned them into stars during his comedy hypnosis show.

"The show was great! Everyone loved it. Next year, everyone wants to know if you will do a 2-hour show. You were fantastic, nobody wanted it to end!!" said Elaine Kokawski, of the Association.

Kokawski reported that they earned over $2100 for the kids of the Belvidere Midget Wrestling Association and they hope to make even more next year!

"I'm glad everyone had fun!" Raven says. "The most important thing is, we raised some much needed money for the kids to continue to have a great wrestling program!"

John performs comedy stage hypnosis shows for corporate events, schools and fundraisers but he especially enjoys the fundraisers. "It's hard to beat the feeling of knowing you're working for a good cause," he says.
