PPAI Show a Success for Press-A-Print

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 27, 2009 -- (Idaho Falls, ID) - PPAI Las Vegas a success for Press-A-Print Operators this year. In addition to the many vendors and PPAI sponsored workshops Press-A-Print Operators were able to visit with corporate staff and receive training and updates on the latest techniques and strategies to make their businesses successful in the new year.

The Press-A-Print hospitality room was very busy throughout the entire conference. Operators were able to meet with staff, including Press-A-Print CEO Travis Young. Workshops were sponsored by Press-A-Print on pad printing and screen-printing techniques, Corel software, and vinyl cutting.

Three new pieces of equipment were covered in workshops. Press-A-Print’s Director of Business and Technical Development Don Vugrenes introduced a new direct to garment printer from Sawgrass, new screen adjusters, and Xpress Screen, a new screen maker. This new equipment is available to help support the thousand of Press-A-Print Operators throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The Press-A-Print Awards Dinner featured comedian David Glickman performing for operators and staff. Awards that were given out include Rookie of the Year – Darryl Williams, Communicator of the Year – Mitch Guidry, Lifetime Achievement Award – Carol Fahey, Outstanding Design Award – Terry and Marilyn Peak, and Dedicated Expo Attendee – Luz and Jim Davis.
