Cedar Park, Texas Fitness Boot Camp Owner Warns Dieters About The Dangers Of Dieting
"Starvation diets do not work", insists Cedar Park, Texas Fitness Expert, Scott York. To help make losing weight easier, follow these four tips.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) January 30, 2009 --
Local Cedar Park, Texas fitness expert Scott York has information every dieter needs to know: Starvation diets do not work, so don't bother. York warns those wanting to lose weight fast and drastically reduce their calorie intake are asking for serious trouble.
"Diets just don't work.", York was quoted as saying. "People must come to grips with the fact that losing weight this January and beyond, is going to take hard work, discipline, patience and a plan based upon science, not guesswork."
York is constantly educating the public about sound nutritional habits and exercise. "If it were easy, everyone would have six pack abs", he explained. "As fitness experts, we seem to fight an uphill battle. Everyone wants the results, but few are willing to do the work."
To help make losing weight the "right way" easier, York recommmends the following tips:
1) Create a realistic plan. The focus of which should be sound nutritional habits and regular exercise.
2) It's crucial to weight loss success to not have the "trigger" foods lying around - the temptation is often too great. Remove the home of any leftover holiday "treats" that will lead to the eating of unnecessary calories.
3) Enlist the help of a friend and encourage one another. Be sure this weight loss "buddy" is as equally as determined.
4) Most importantly, be realistic. Excess pounds and bloat do not come on overnight. They do not come off overnight either.
