ROCKER ALEXX CALISE TO DEBUT NEW "MORNING (AFTER) PILL"
JANUARY 30, 2009 (LOS ANGELES, CA) -- International recording artist, Alexx Calise will be debuting 3 new downloadable tracks this week that will only be available through a limited number of online retailers including her own website, Alexxcalise.com.
The 23-year-old female singer, songwriter and guitarist, best known for her poignant lyrics and stellar guitar chops recorded the new songs with her producer, Luigie Gonzalez last year immediately following the release of her highly publicized debut album, "Morning Pill." Cleverly titled "Morning (After) Pill," the songs are of the "rocktronica" variety, and blend the impressive production skills of Grammy-nominated Gonzalez with Calise's wailing vocals and no-olds-barred attitude.
The 3-song collection, according to Calise, is "merely a pre-quel to what is to come for this year." She will also be releasing her second record this year, and debuting her first record with her other music project, Sound of Cancer that also includes accomplished drummer/songwriter, Dennis Morehouse.
Alexx Calise broke out onto the music scene in 2007, and amassed an enormous international fanbase via Myspace. Since releasing her debut album, "Morning Pill" in 2007, she has been featured in Blender and Guitar World magazines, her music is being played extensively on MTV and VH1 Networks, and her musician's advice column has been featured in a variety of music publications including L2PNet.com, ASCAP's Inside Music montly newsletter, and GHS Guitar Strings's e-newsletter.
