January 29, 2009 – Gamerz, Mercs, and Zealots (GMZ) is pleased to announce that their new site will be having its soft opening February 1st. On the day of their release they will make available an exclusive Q/A (Question and Answer) with Wolfire Games, the developers of Lugaru, about their new game in development, Overgrowth. Overgrowth is the sequel to Lugaru and is well into the Alpha state of development.

GMZ strives to be a gaming and community site (for both hardcore and casual gamers), unlike others that exist, with unique and friendly member interaction and exclusive content. Their site boasts a ladder tournament system that allows their members to play against each other, keep track of their scores, and win prizes in the process. The site currently has gaming reviews, previews, and guides in their content, and they are working on many more articles. GMZ is also working to create competitive teams to compete in world game tournaments.

GMZ is also the home of SPR Radio. SPR Radio is a live online radio station that was previously done in podcast form. SPR Radio strives to be a radio of the people, often putting in programs that people request.
