With a reputation which grew rapidly, Bucherer's shop was extremely profitable. Bucherer expanded his business and went to open several stores throughout Switzerland.

The Bucherer business was passed down through the family and eventually became the biggest jewelry and watch retailers in the region. Today, Bucherer is still privately owned and has 33 stores throughout Switzerland, Germany, and Austria.

Before the Basel watch show in 2001, most of the world had never seen or heard of a Carl F. Bucherer watch. However, unbeknownst to the masses, Bucherer has been manufacturing high quality watches for nearly 90 years in Switzerland. The watches were sold in their own shops in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria.

With an extensive knowledge base in the watchmaking industry, Carl F. Bucherer launched a global distributorship to make their watches available internationally.

They presented their first creation, the Patravi Chronograph GMT, which featured their very own movement, the CFB 1901, which was developed in house.

Today, Carl F. Bucherer creates high quality watches with unigue designs.
