FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) February 5, 2009 -- Red Deer, Alberta (February 5, 2009) – If the thought of hitting the snooze button three times, putting on your best suit and fighting morning traffic while hot coffee spills on your lap is losing its appeal – you could join the millions around the world who are starting home-based businesses and loving it.

Trade in your suit for a new bathrobe on Monday, February 9 – the day the world recognizes the seventh annual “Doing Business in Your Bathrobe Day”.

Red Deer College Virtual Assistant (VA) instructor, Bev Pederson, has been teaching online courses from home since September 2003, providing training to those individuals interested in offering administrative support to businesses around the world.

“The current economic uncertainty impacts all of us, whether it is the price of gas or concerns about job security. Of course, changing direction because of these uncertainties can open up new opportunities. The Virtual Assistant profession is one of the fastest growing in the country. Being your own boss gives you the flexibility to manage your family and personal time, and provides greater opportunities to bring creativity into your business,” said Pederson

Denise Jeffrey, graduate of the Virtual Assistant Certificate, and owner of About Time Virtual Assistance & Commemorative Services (ATVACS), joins more than 4.5 million home business owners who have waved goodbye to the pressures of working outside the home and have settled into a more balanced and better quality of life as a home entrepreneur.

“As a certified VA, I work from my own home office, using my own equipment, to provide administrative and creative services to businesses and individuals on a contract basis. I save money on gas, and have the flexibility to choose when I work, how much I work and who I want to work for,” confirms Denise.

Celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit with Denise Jeffrey and Bev Pederson on February 9 by making your bathrobe your power suit!

Don’t have a bathrobe? Enter now for your chance to win!
