This year's Tampa Weekend Film School will open its doors to a very limited number of students. We have added an exciting acting workshop that is open to actors as young as age 7. Overall we will be training only 20 filmmakers and 20 actors. We're keeping our class size very small to provide the very best total-immersion educational experience possible. All at a cost that doesn't even cover our expenses. Our staff of working professionals have donated all, or a portion of their time, in order to give back to new filmmakers and actors who are serious about learning their craft. Help us find the 20 deserving students for Tampa Weekend Film School 2009.

Two day - Hands-on - Filmmaker Workshop

Day One - Film School - On the first day, everyone will attend classes on each of the fundamental filmmaking skills.

Day Two - Film Shoot - On the second day, you will direct, shoot, setup lighting and sound, edit, all with the guidance of experienced industry professionals and the use of industry standard equipment.

This is a filmmaking experience you'll never forget.

Two day - Acting workshop

Day one - Spend the day with our acting coach. Learn how to prepare for auditions, how to find work, and more.

Day two -
On the second day, our acting students will be acting in a commercial and short film to create an acting reel for each student!

Every actor who attends the workshop will receive a free headshot by professional photographer, Craig Litten.
