“Having surveyed over a dozen public speaking clubs, we found that there were limited options available when it comes to timing devices,” says Michael Roes, President of Incline Technology. “Most clubs we surveyed are using crudely made light boxes, some of which pose an electrical safety hazard. We sought to bring a safe and user-friendly timer to the marketplace that combined indicator lights with a stopwatch to provide a modern solution to the timing function.”

Ovation Alpha is programmed with five standard presets specific to the various segments of a standard public speaking club meeting including Prepared Speeches, Evaluations, and Table Topics. Easily programmable, the timer can fit any club’s meeting protocol. The device’s presets are easily adjusted for other uses including debates, classroom use, business meetings, panel discussions, political meetings and media training.
