How do I play?

The first thing you should do is click on "You" and buy your own stock.

How do I make money?

You make money by buying others' stocks and then selling at a profit. You cannot sell until you have held the stock for 1 hour, or 2 hours if you have boosted them (see boost FAQ). You will get your initial investment back plus 75% of the profit - the other 25% goes to the stock who you have sold.

How do I advertise my stock?

Click on "announce" and create an announcement to let other players know about your stock.



How do I get a bank account?

The Bank account will be given to you automatically when your Cash exceeds 2000mil (2Billion). All excess cash will be deposited into the bank account. For more info on the bank account, please follow this link apps.facebook.com/friendstock/invest/cash



What do I do with the Boost Tokens?

Boost tokens are used to increase the stock's value. Boosts tokens can be used every 12 hours. The longer you take to boost a stock, the better chance of getting random super boosts. For more info on how to get more boost tokens follow this link apps.new.facebook.com/friendstock/invest/offers


Who can I boost?

You may only boost a stock that you have bought, and to be able to boost yourself you must also purchase your own stock. Boosts increase the higher value the stock becomes, and if you're lucky you may give/receive a SuperBoost!



How do I receive tokens from an offer?

If you are missing tokens, click on "offers" and then "View Offer Status", and see that status of your offer. If you would like to file a complaint, click on the [?] and Offerpal will respond to you within a day.

Why can't I comment on someone's page or buy them?

You may have been blocked or you have blocked the other person. The block function is there to use if you have an issue with another player, although you may remove a block at a later date by going to Settings and requesting an unblock. Note - you are only able to block 20 players - any more and the first block will fall off your list.



Why are some names in italic (cursive) text?

These are stocks that have either been invited and not yet installed the application or are players who have left the game. Either way they are not currently active players.



Why am I showing to others as a private stock?

Your privacy settings may not allow FS to show your name and profile picture - go to settings at the top right of your page and open them up, and if still not showing your name try adjusting your Facebook privacy settings for the application.


Why can't I buy a stock over $2 billion?

The cash limit to play with is set at $2 billion at any time. You will have to wait for the stock to have a seller and fall below $2 billion.

Why do people have 2147 in their tags?

$2147 million is the highest price a stock can reach (due to 32 bit representation).
