9/11 Survivor Pens Open Letter of Responsibility to President Barack Obama

Westport, Connecticut—As millions gathered across the world to watch with anticipation as President Obama served his historical first weeks in office as President of the United States, Mike Jaffe, motivational speaker and author, sat at his computer writing an open letter of responsibility to President Obama. Addressing the needs and expectations of the American people, Mike Jaffe, owner of Jaffe Life Design, searched for words that would embrace the emotions of the American people. “It is the first time that I have ever written a letter to a President. I think that is the inspiration of President Obama. I wanted to reach out to him and let him know that our country was behind him,” states Jaffe about his decision to write to President Obama. “Even more, I wanted him to know that our country is investing more than just our economic and political wellbeing. Each of us is investing ourselves in way that I have not seen since the tragedy of September 11th.”
