International world record as a symbol of hope and peace

At the time of Barack Obama’s inauguration an attempt for a new world record has started. People and companies from all over the world are invited to take part in it.

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 10, 2009 -- The website worldrecordbanner.com wants to embroid the world’s biggest digital banner as a sign of hope and peace in times of global changes and economic upheavals. The participants of the world record choose a region on the banner, embroider it with their company logo or Message and set a link to their own homepage.

As a sign of unity and international peace, the banner is supposed to be set up from as many countries and companies as possible, with all the different pieces forming a great ensemble. The website has been translated into eleven languages, among them Hindi, Chinese, Hebrew and Arabic.
