Part of MLM training is goal setting. Every new comers will be asked to write down their goals. This is to let the upline assist you in planning your activities and monitor your progress to ensure you can achieve your goal. But what is so difficult about setting goals?

People set goals everyday, every time they see something they want or like, But how many times do they achieve what they dream? One problem with people is that more than often, the goals they set are too unattainable, or too ambiguous, it doesn’t seem like you really want to achieve it at all.

Therefore you should find an upline that can assist you in your goal setting as part of yout MLM training program.

Without a proper goal set, no matter how much MLM trainings and presentationn, sales training, you will not be motivated to achieve your goal.

The goal or dream you set must be so important to you that you think of it all day long, and even dreaming of achieving it.

Avoid ambiguous dreams like: Make money, Be rich, Buy car, Quit job.

When you join a Network Marketing/ MLM company, your upline will first get to you set your goal. If you set ambiguous goals, you are only setting it for your upline,these goals are set not for oneself, but for others.

The difference in MLM/ Network Marketing is that you don’t have treat your upline like your boss, you don’t have to do things to please them.

You must realize that you are your own boss when you join MLM/ Network Marketing. You need to be initiative, and do things that will benefit yourself.

Discover your “hot button”, or things that make you tick, instead of making ambiguous dreams, you should be making specific goals you want to achieve, that mean something to you.

A good example of specific goals are; “I want to be able to bring my family to Japan by December”, “I want to earn $15000 to down pay for a new Nissan Fair lady in 5 months”

It is important to set your goal as detailed and specific as possible. So you know exactly what you want. These goals should be close to your heart and personal. And it should be important that you achieve it, so you will not give up easily.

You need to have a dateline to achieve your goal so you can plan how you can achieve it. If you don’t set a date to achieve your goal, you will never achieve it, because you won’t feel the urgency to achieve them.....
