In 1998, Poole started a wireless cell phone business and his income almost immediately shot up to six figures. The business grew steadily and by early 2008 was posting annual revenues in excess of $4 million. It was a solid operation with healthy cash reserves and a workforce of almost 40 employees. And then the recession came crashing down.

After laying off people and scaling back operations, Poole once again new that he needed a new direction.
