Mission:

Out Da Trunk Show is a supporter of independent Designers, Artist and Craft specialist. As a part of our commitment to the growth of indie, DIYers market, we offering great, fun and affordable marketing events to help sale and promote indie art, services, crafts and talents.

Introduction:
Out Da Trunk Show was introduced in January of 2008 by Che Woo Design. They have produced three ODTS events so far and plan to continue this trend in the years to come. ODTS offers fun branded reusable canvas gift bags, drinks, food and prizes to attendees. ODTS has featured mini fashion shows, makeover booths and performances by local DJs, dance crews and emerging singers. Event will take place twice a year starting in 2009 Projected dates mid May-June (2-day event) and late October-November (1 day evening event).

Show Description:
The WE Market (The Weekend Market) is a New York Style street market anticipated to start in April of 2009 and May as a monthly event featuring vintage jewelry, fashion, accessories, artist prints, well as hand crafted and knitted goods from local artisans. WE will be held bi-weekly starting in June through September of 2009 as an indoor/outdoor sidewalk market @

Set-up: 8:30 to 11am
Doors Open: 11am to 3pm
Break Down: 3pm to 4pm

Evening Show Time:
Set-up: 4:30 to 6pm
Doors Open: 6pm to 11pm
Break Down: 11pm to 12am

Preliminary Show Dates:
April: 4 & 18th
May: 2 & 16th
June: 6th & 20th
July: 4th & 18th
August: 1st & 15th
September: 5th & 19th
October: 9th (evening show)
November: 14th (evening show)
Dec: 19th (evening show)

Vendor Rates:
$25 per 4ft space
$35 per 6ft space

Monthly Vendor Rates: (to book both days for summer months July-Sept)

$45 per 4ft Space (Save $5)
$60 per 6ft space (Save $10)

Estimated Vendors:
10 to 25 per event (higher numbers at summer events indoor and outdoor)

Estimated Attendance:
Total attendance: 1300 to 3250
100 to 250 per event

Targeted Audience:
Interest: fashion, art, music, technology, live concerts, indie film, xtreme, sports, sky diving, travel

Education: attending college, some college, college graduate

Age Range: 18-35 (male and female across demographics)

Income Median Range: $25,000 to $60,000

Event Promotion Plan:
Promotions will begin Mid January ’09 to target vendors, designers and artist. These marketing tools will engage both vendors and buyers, introducing them to the market. A second round of marketing materials will be released three (3) weeks prior to the first event (Projected dated April 18th). Second round materials will list all future dates and sponsor info (logos, event url and additional event info).

Sponsorships are annual Starting with the first event April or month Sponsor is brought aboard until the close of the WE Year.


Online Promotion: Online postings and Ads (CheWooDesign.com, CheZieStudio.com, OutDaTrunkShow.com, Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, Going.com, Eventful, Metromix, Venuszine, Local News Community Calendar, WGCI on the Block site, Craigslist and additional online communities/blogs/event related websites)

E-Marketing: Get Invited, Chicago Nightlife, Che+Zie Studio Client List, Get Invited, fashion, craft and DIY related blogs and additional local and national e-blast services

Public Marketing and Advertising: Flier and posters distribution to local colleges, universities, clothing, footwear, social and food/beverage venues. Advertisements in local news publications (UR, Chicago Reader, Indigo, Rolling Out, Venuszine, etc).


Seasonal Marketing Materials:

Spring: (Intro for Vendors and Sponsors a 1-day evening shopping event April and May with TBD Dates for Summer as well as co-op for the Out Da Trunk Show 4 TBD Mid May-June)

Summer: Materials will be released two weeks prior to the first Summer Show. June 20th date (Images from past event, sponsors logos, future
show bi-weekly dates with TBD for Fall/Winter slots).

Fall/Winter: Materials will be released two weeks prior to the first Fall Winter Shows. September 19th date (Images from past event, sponsors logos, future show TBD for Fall/Winter slots and info for 2010 dates as well as
co-op advertising for Out Da Trunk Show 5 Late October-November).
