Fort Worth -- The College of Public Affairs and Community Service at the University of North Texas has recognized the Autism Treatment Program at Easter Seals North Texas with its 2009 Community Service Award.
The award, which will be presented April 24 during a dinner, is for the unique partnership the university and the Easter Seals Autism Treatment Program have developed for working with families that have a child with autism. The primary clinic is in Carrollton, a Dallas suburb.
“The work of the Easter Seals Treatment Program is most deserving,” said Dean Thomas L. Evenson.
Easter Seals North Texas president and CEO Monica Prather said, “Jennifer Friesen and her tremendous team are very deserving of this recognition.”
