Each piece is an original artwork that is modeled in wax before a mold is made from it. Wax copies are then taken and any blemishes corrected before they go to a manufacturing jewelers to be cast in Silicon Bronze using the “lost wax” technique.
As all of these stages result in blemishes and distortion, each casting is individually examined, corrected and polished before being ready to rivet onto their genuine leather backing. A piece is finished when the ring is attached and the edge of the leather is hand stitched down.
Given the degree of individual attention that goes into every stage, every one is unique in it’s own right.
The process is so time consuming that they will never be mass-produced and only those that are ready at a given time, are offered for sale.
