Defending the Unborn Commends Florida Surgeon General Viamonte.
"On February 6, 2009, the Board of Medicine heard this case and, after a full discussion, voted unanimously to revoke the physician's license." -Florida Surgeon General Ana M. Viamonte.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) March 5, 2009 --
Defending the Unborn director Wes Hazlett has commended Madam Surgeon General Viamonte Ros and the Florida Dept. of Health for swift follow up actions in handling the tragic events that led to the death of the child born to Sycloria Williams, of whom was named *Shanice Denise Osbourne.
Hazlett commented, “the Florida Surgeon General exhibited due diligence through legal procedure as Surgeon General to permanently revoke the medical license of Pierre Jean-Jacque Renelique for his criminal actions that led to the willful death of a human being."
Viamonte wrote in her March 3 correspondence to Defending the Unborn, "the Board of Medicine heard this case and, after a full discussion, voted unanimously to revoke the physician's license. A revocation is permanent and is the most serious penalty that the Board can impose by law."
While noting a positive step in the right direction, Hazlett noted, "those who understand that both the the life of the unborn and the new born are just as human as President Barack Obama, face a long battle against a current sitting President who has actively sought by **clear track record to crush any legislation that comes to his desk that is even remotely prolife.”
