In a surprise move global publishing giant Mediazone Group announced last night at 7:20pm (New York time) that its Recession Relief & Rescue (RRR) 3-week intensive training workshop for corporations earlier scheduled to open in Spain in June this year, will now be held in Hong Kong.

Bookings from Europe will be honoured or full refunds will be provided, the Group announced in a communiqué that also denied any political pressure that is suspected to have brought about the sudden change.

The exclusive workshop is specially tailored by key industry personnel and promises to provide unusual insights into the worsening global recession, while providing practical solutions to force recovery.

The workshop offers 100 seats awarded by free and fair allocation processes and the bidding is expected to begin in Hong Kong on March 16, 2009.

Increasing the number of seats is NOT an option, said the Group’s CEO in Sydney. “The effectiveness of the workshops depends on how proactive the attendees are.”

Key international corporations in Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, China, India, Indonesia and Thailand have expressed interest in tailor-made versions of the exclusive workshop. The Mediazone Group at this point wishes to make no comment on such a possibility.
