Local Tucson Mover Appointed National Van Lines Agent

National Van Lines, headquartered in Broadview, IL, is a family owned business that began over 100 years ago when F.J. McKee started delivering ice and coal through the streets of Chicago with a wagon and pony.

Known by their motto of “Moving Your Memories”, National Van Lines has developed into a worldwide accredited van line specializing in hauling both military and civilian packing and hauling of household goods.

3 Gorillas Moving & Storage, started by former professional middleweight boxer Troy Emerson, is a rapidly growing household goods and commercial mover in Tucson. Recently, his hiring of Les Hal as General Manager has expanded his operations to include offering hoisting and rigging services. Hall, the former owner of Hall Brothers Van Lines and Hall Riggers in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a seasoned mover and rigger whose own family traces their moving and rigging history back to the early 1900’s.

Emerson, a self proclaimed “gorilla”, credits this achievement to the care and respect he shows to his customers. When asked how his background as a professional boxer and former promoter for the Shriners Circus has effected his moving career, he answers that it has “allowed him to look at things differently.” He says he wanted to “stand out” in the industry and that is why he chose gorillas for his theme. “I can offer the whole package.
