Knowledge Probe Inc. announces the release of the first of a series of "never-ending" word games for the Twitter platform. Players must find mystery words and phrases using clues they get via tweets, the short messages Twitter uses to send information.
In Tweet Quiz , players compete to find a collection of hidden words related to a specific topic, for example "What's Found at a Volcano". Clues are tweeted periodically during the 16-hour game period. Once a game ends, a new one automatically starts. The game has built-in intelligence which allows for close misspellings of answers.
In Tweet Words , clues to a mystery phrase are tweeted every few minutes to the game's followers. Diminishing points are awarded on a quickest-found, exact match basis. Each game lasts about 30 minutes.
A website, www.outwit.me , is available for checking the rules and obtaining player standings on their leader board.
