Chantilly, VA – March 9 , 2009 – After extensive testing of this 360°panoramic Mega Pixel IP security camera, Global Surveillance System, a leading security equipment rep and wholesaler, is proud to introduce this state-of-the-art camera to its customers.

In comparison to traditional (analog) technology which has only 0.4 mega pixels of live video; GSS’s MOBOTIX series is capable of recording video at 3.1 mega pixels, which provides an image with an astonishing 30 times more detail. The result is larger image areas with up to 360° panoramic views. This reduces the number of cameras needed and in turn reduces the cost.

The Mega Pixel CMOS image sensor, and the latest German-made fish-eye lens, allows this camera to deliver a full 2048x1536 pixel resolution image to monitor an entire area up to 1000sq ft. The camera has built-in software which allows users to select different sections of the fish-eye view to create separate dedicated views for all areas of interest.

The MOBOTIX Q22M Hemispheric is a maintenance-free, professional network dome camera with 360° all around view and is encased in a beautifully designed, compact weather proof housing with a speaker and a microphone.
