“A Little Change CAN Make a BIG Difference” Campaign Culminates on United Nations World Water Day

Now THIRST AID LIVE ®, the live component of several organizations working to bring awareness to the global water crisis, is issuing a call to action for users of social networking sites to change that by the end of The United Nations World Water Day. From now until Sunday, March 22, 2009, Facebook and Twitter users can donate their spare change to help in the fight to eradicate the global water crisis with only a few clicks!

Research on the global water crisis shows that an estimated 2 billion people worldwide lack access to clean water supplies and because of it, 1 in 5 children die from unsafe water daily. Surprisingly research also shows that the amounts that some spend on a pack of cigarettes or a foot long sub can change that and give a child clean drinking water for life!
