Local Birmingham Design House Dorm Suite Dorm Now Offers Complete Custom Bedding for College Coeds

(Birmingham, AL) Dorm design house Dorm Suite Dorm (www.dormsuitedorm.com), now in its second year of operation, has expanded its offering of dorm bedding and accessories for college coeds. At Dorm Suite Dorm, students can visit the online shop and design studio to create one-of-a-kind sheets, pillows, duvet covers, coverlets, bed shirts, dust ruffles, bulletin boards and curtains from dozens of fabrics, featuring the latest colors and patterns found in current home and fashion design. Items can also be monogrammed for further customization.
In its first year, Dorm Suite Dorm offered six premium collections of college bedding and accessories, created by founder and design director Sheri Corey. Corey, who served DSD customers around the world in that first year of operation, found that her most popular items were those that allowed for personalization, such as the selection of accent colors or monogramming.

With this knowledge, she modified her business model and product mix to better serve her customers, offering fabrics doused in saturated color combinations like chocolate brown and preppy pink, citrus orange and sparkling turquoise, springy kiwi and crisp white. Patterns feature oversized and petite houndstooth, modern toile and updated damask.
Signature details continue to be a part of the Dorm Suite Dorm brand. Dorm Suite Dorm pieces include such custom flourishes as hand-covered buttons dotting duvets, contrasting layers peeking from bed skirt pleats, and piping, fringe and trims finishing coverlets and pillows.
With college acceptance letters arriving daily, Corey and her Dorm Suite Dorm team ready for the onslaught of giddy college coeds.

Girls can register their wish list and preferences on the company website’s Dream Registry. This allows family and friends to purchase DSD gift certificates to give as graduation, birthday and going away gifts.
