Warning Posted Regarding Algae Bloom/Revised 7 Day Reasonable Environmental Living E-course

(Free-Press-Release.com) March 18, 2009 -- Augusta Maine/Raleigh North Carolina, March 16, 2009- Greenville Eco Family, a supporter of environmental literacy, announces a Warning Posted Regarding Algae Bloom at Eno River State Park in North Carolina and the release of the Revised 7 Day Reasonable Environmental Living e-course created to help reduce human caused environmental devastation

Beverly Eaves Perdue, Governor Dee Freeman, Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources, release a health warning regarding potentially dangerous blue-green algae has been posted at an abandoned rock quarry in Eno River State Park that is a popular gathering spot for park visitors.

The state park is advising visitors not to have contact or allow pets to have contact with the water. Signs posted at the property advise visitors that the water contains blue-green algae capable of producing toxins that expose humans and pets to dangers. State Biologists are working with the state Division of Water Quality to determine the cause and to identify the effects.
