The FDA clears "Healing Light" for treatment of Oseoarthritis

Rapid City, SD ~ Billions of dollars equal a staggering loss in the Untied States economy due to medical costs and decrease in productivity. The culprit, osteoarthritis. It affects over 21 million Americans of who have double the risk of circulatory conditions due to the commonplace treatment of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS). However, The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) cleared a new therapy for home use that alleviates pain and inflammation with no side effects. This therapy is the Q Laser System, a low level laser. This marks the first low level laser to be cleared by the FDA for over the counter use treating Osteoarthritis of the Hand.

Subjects in the study reported a 60% decrease in pain, and an 82% increase in range of motion over the “sham laser” group.
