New Home Sales by Price Bands in Colorado Front Range and Denver Metro Areas Vary Dramatically
New Home Sales in the housing markets along the Colorado Front Range vary quite dramatically when segmented by specific price bands, according the recent sales data released by Home Builders Research.

Home Builders Research of Colorado recently profiled new home sales in the housing markets along the Front Range, including the Denver Metro Area, Larimer and Weld Counties in Northern Colorado and El Paso County/Colorado Springs in Southern Colorado.
David Laffoon, president of the firm, offered recent analysis of new home sales segmented by specific price bands in each of the market areas. He noted that the share of sales captured by specific price bands varied dramatically among the four major market areas analyzed in Colorado.
Laffoon noted "As one might expect the larger Denver metro area captured a larger share of new home sales in the higher price bands, while the smaller and somewhat more remote areas of Larimer and Weld Counties tended to experience greater sales shares in the lower price bands."
It was noted as well by Laffoon that "El Paso County and the Colorado Springs area also has a higher percentage share of new home sales in the lower price bands."
