UP AND COMING YOUNG WRITER PUBLISHES SECOND BOOK

Clearwater, Florida—March 31, 2009—Dylan Alexander, age fourteen (thirteen at the time when he published his first book), has just published his second book, LIVESTOCK, on www.Lulu.com. The plot of the book is an alternate history where America has been ravaged by war, and a deadly virus. Throughout the story the main characters, many of them in the book, are trying to survive in this post apocalyptic world where infected people who the survivors aptly name zombies are on the move. The heroes have dark and light pasts, which are ultimately revealed throughout the book. However by the end there still remains some mystery to be told in a possible sequel.

Dylan Alexander has been writing stories since the very young age of six. His grandmother gave him an empty book for him to write in when he was about nine. In the book he wrote the Battleground series, which he didn’t publish but still had fun writing. It was about a boy named Brim Bomsag who ran away from his village in a raid and avenges his fallen people in the end. He also had two sequels which followed similar plots, and a fourth which told the story of Brim’s son, Kairo.

For awhile Dylan stopped writing, but then several images popped into his minds of new books and he began to write again. One of those images was CYBERNETICA: Zero’s Story. It is the tale of the first person perspective of a four day period through the eyes of a robot named Zero. In this four day period, Zero discovers a plot against the government involving the company he was designed and built by known as Simutech. Zero and his newfound ally and friend, Gwen, decide that their enemies must be stopped and set out to defeat them. The book is one hundred and four (104) pages long.
