Developed by Diana Durham, the owner of Educational Chess, the Chess Hangman game is helping many learn the chess terms while having fun.
As a chess teacher since 1990, Ms. Durham is dedicated to helping students learn about chess in an interactive manner. "I am basing my entire teaching method on what the students need and on my own experiences." Ms. Durham said. "I wish that I had this opportunity when I was learning about chess as a teenager. Back then, I was not too fond of studying, so I had to learn everything by reading books or sometimes I was skipping the basics entirely. So, because of that, I lost a lot of games at first- and I almost gave up chess. Therefore, I understand how important it is to add a fun dimension to chess learning. Chess is very abstract and complex and it can scare some people from learning it. I believe that learning chess can be fun and it can be done by everyone regardless of their level or age."
Ms. Durham has also created fun chess puzzles and crossword puzzles to add to the fun of learning chess. Anyone can play the Chess Hangman game and download the puzzles she created for free. For free downloads and to play the Hangman game, you can visit www.educationalchess.com
