“What was your motivation to create this site?”
The main motivations where:

*I loved "Where is Waldo" when I was little, and wanted to make an internet version.
*I thought milliondollarhomepage was an very original fun concept, and wondered if I could create something fun.
*just like Dave, I always get lost, or lose something. And have to always retrace my steps.
*I was in finance, and when the market crashed. My back was against the wall, I had to come up with something to try and get out of it.

*And most importantly, my lovely girlfriend. Because of my job situation, I had to move back home; and have a long distance relationship. I miss her so, and want more than anything to get back to her.

Basically when my job in finance was gone, I thought long and hard to find a way to get money, so I could go back to NY. I figured that the best way to do that was to combine giving advertisers their moneys worth, and giving the visitors something fun that they will like.

Where is this guy? is an advertisers dream.
Why?
Besides it being fun, cost effective, and most importantly not being intrusive.
There are few other main reasons, why you should advertise here.

1) Visitors scan your ad even if it’s small or big, to try to find Dave and his latest 10 sites.
*How many of the sites did you click on the way to find Dave?
*If I’m looking for something, and I come across it in a fun site; I’ll click it. Just like you might of have on some of the sites.
2) People have access to your website at a click; the barrier to do something is minimal.

I have made the puzzle out of powerful blogs, big companies and small companies.
Hopefully with the help of the blogs and press, the site will be filled with advertisers.
