Help in looking for child care or a childminder in Bracknell or across Berkshire now available

John Hicks, director of the internet music radio station broadcasting across Berkshire and beyond, launched in February this year, has been out and about in the local community asking what residents in the Royal County want from the station.

John said: “One request from local people was that our links on the website to local businesses included ready access to child care services. This was particularly important to residents with limited access to the internet who need to access a one-stop shop service on-line”.

So, in response to that request, the new directory was established as an integral part of the Radio Bracknell’s business directory at www.radiobracknell.com but with a separate domain name to encourage internet search engines to direct visitors to the site.

The new directory will be promoted on-line and on-air where listeners can enjoy programmes on their computers at work, PC’s at home, wi-fi radios, many models of mobile phones, Playstation PSP’s and in-car entertainment systems through Bluetooth enabled hands-free mobile phone kits or the new generation of internet car radios.

“Our website already has comprehensive links to sources of “what’s on” and job vacancies information as well as our business directory.” John added.
