FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) April 11, 2009 --
In May, bestselling author Donna M. Kshir will launch her fifth release, "One Step at a Time." Along with a new release, Kshir is extremely proud to introduce her new "One Step at a Time "co-author and business partner Sandra Potter of Peck, Michigan.
"One Step at a Time" is a raw 46,946 word detailed account of a young woman's dramatic story of domestic violence. Every woman dreams of meeting the perfect man, but no woman dreams of being physically and sexually abused, tortured or held hostage in their own home.
Kshir made a dramatic impact in the publishing world when she placed third in the Sports/MMA category on the Barnes and Nobles Bestsellers List in 2008 and the Midwest Book Review called her work "riveting."
Sandra is the President/CEO of Dreamcatchers for Abused Children. She and her husband Philip run the Michigan based non-profit child abuse and neglect organization, which was founded in 2007 and currently has over 13,000 active members. Their mission is to educate the public nationwide on the signs and symptoms of child abuse, statistics, intervention, reporting, prevention, and assisting victims in their recovery.
Potter stated, "When Donna became the Marketing Director for Dreamcatchers we decided to combine our talents by writing a series of books based on our own personal experiences, extensive research and firsthand knowledge of the turmoil, trauma and life-long effects abuse can have on your life. We believe that "Education & Knowledge is the KEY to Prevention." If the public is properly educated it may help to stop this violent epidemic plaguing our nation."
In addition to their May release, Kshir and Potter are currently working on project "Survivors." They are asking anyone who has been affected by child abuse and who wants to share their story of survival with the world, in 550 words or less to contact them via email or Myspace.
All participants who meet the standard requirements will be featured in an upcoming release titled, "Survivors," which is scheduled for release later this year. For more information on their books or to become a participant in their upcoming release, "Survivor" visit; www.myspace.com/childabuseproject or by emailing them at childabusesurvivors@gmail.com.
One Step at a Time is currently scheduled for a May 2009 release date.
